The last twenty years as a Somali Community in India we experienced the UNHCR’s un-necessary appoints and fake promises made by the UNHCR Officials Staff at New Delhi-India, there were thousands and Hundreds of Somali Refugees who have been engaging themselves in UN-Refugees Agency but unfortunately the organization has failed to optimize it is duties and responsibilities as it has been pledged in the humanitarian act 1951.in Geneva-Switzerland.
The new era of Arab spring and so called nation revolution against dictators and autocratic leadership in Middle East and some African Countries,it was a turning point of silence against human intimations and harassment which have taken place in above countries. this increases also the high demand of refugees to get a peaceful resettlement and basic human needs.
The UNHCR representing office at New Delhi-India has usually undermined all this needs from Refugees side, the major problems and challenges which has faced to the Somali Refugees in India are the cut-down the payment of all expenditures in which the most vulnerable of the Refugees depending to maintain for buying necessary needs such as: human basic needs like,Food, shelter expenses, medical care and etc.In addition to that the UN-Refugees Agency has stopped for providing to the Somali Refugee’s medical Aid and educational assistance to the Refugees’ child and infants who have not yet attended the age of minority ,the UNHCR Organization in New Delhi-India are intentionally subjugating women and elderly people who suffering from various pandemic diseases like Cancer,Kidney failure,brain storm ,stoke, hypo-tension,paralyze ,tuber-closes and hepatitis (B,C Ag).
The organization duties only focusing to gain a lot money in various forms and styles the first is putting the Refugees them selves in front-line and UN-Refugees Agency fueling them back for illegal Human capitalization at largest scale and escaping their main functions which has been given to them by means of ensuring and saving Refugee’s lives and enable them to revive to adopt the exile corrupted life in India.
As a Community we have been address to the Headquarter of the UNHCR in Geneva-Switzerland many times but no action has taken till now and it is great unfortunately and it makes as a Community more disappointed and extremely sad to the all Refugees representing Somali Community who has been suffering from a various problems on physically and mentally and the reason is that a fake promises or presented talks from the UNHCR staffs here in New Delhi-India.if you ask any one of the UN-Refugees Agency staff simple appointment they simply may delayed you or rejecting your humanitarian Assistance too earlier than anticipated.
